Already teen inches this week. A third of or lease is underwater bad. Rest of the country is burning up. Sad situation. A day may come when we are building pipelines for water instead of oil.

Dang that's a lot of water. We have had showers all week this week good showers to that really soak the ground. Still could use a lot more rain but it's better than what it was.

I think this is the 13th straight day of precipitation here.
Wanted to move a stand but this is as far as I got:
Road seldom goes under water, never in July. I was still a half mile from the creek. Pouring rain now too.
Ya we could definitely use your rain up here. The news said that to expect the drought to last till October with just as little rain
Yep..been unreal the past 2 weeks. Yesterday was the only day during that 2 week period it hasn't rained here. Bad thunderstorm woke me up a 5:00 this morning.
Send it up here guys....we need it BAD!!!
Your huntin land looks a little wet

Wowzers! Hasn't rained a drop here in over a month. 20 miles away in Ottawa the streets were flooded on Monday, big storm with tornadoes hit and just went south of us by about a mile. We need rain BAD, all the grass is dead and forest fires are popping up all over the place.
We need it BAD. We are in a exceptional drought. As bad as it gets, A lot of fire crews can't seem to get a break. We are 16+ inches below rainfall. :/
What is a firefighter?
He's the guy next door.
He's a guy like you and me with warts and worries and unfulfilled dreams.
Yet he stands taller than most of us.
He's a fireman.
A fireman is at once the most fortunate and the least fortunate of men.
He's a man who saves lives because he has seen too much death.
He's a gentle man because he has seen the awesome power of violence out of control.
He doesn't preach the brotherhood of man.
He lives it.

out west we're drier than a popcorn fart. send it to us...
The news said last night that a monsoon could go through here and it wouldn't help the crops a bit. It also said that 90 to 95% of farmers will be cutting they're crops into silage
Drought here... 100+ temps non stop... I would take that rain SOOOOOOOOOOOO fast. Feel free to send us 6" - 7"... When you walk across our field its dust, literally.
