Wet stuff falling from sky???

Something strange went on lastnight at home....I was watching TV when I looked outside and some wet stuff was falling from the sky.....I have not seen it in so long I was not sure what it was....lol.....man I wish it would have rained all night and all day today but right now we are back to sun and heat.

It is nice and 57 here right now. Only suppose to get up to 77 today was 80 yesterday. To bad I'm at work. Suppose to be nice here all next week. Lookin forward to it.

Isn't it nice Joe? Haven't seen rain here in about 6 weeks and it's rained the past 3 days. The grass was literally crunchy to walk on, not a green blade of grass to be seen. Now everything is starting to come around. Supposed to rain today and tomorrow and a chance of thundershowers almost all week. I think they said Ottawa got 2mm of rain in the whole month of July, the normal amount is like 80mm.

We have rain in the forecast pretty much all week. Its something like 20% but Ill take that. The high tomorrow is 88. We had lightning all around the house last night and the weather radio went off a couple of times. We never got a drop though. We had our first day in several weeks under 100 last week. It was amazing. This morning it was 65 at the house. My daughters asked me to turn on the heater! Today is 90's, tomorrow is 88. This has some promise! Once it broke, it broke! I just hope this trend continues.

Hope you get more up your way Joe. We got a nice little shower here this morning, but still in real bad shape, ground soaked it up so fast it is already dry.

Only wet stuff I've seen except for this morning came from a hose attached to our pumper putting out brush fires
