Smoked one with "moosie" tonight

A good bear, that is. I am in boise this week for work and I e-mailed the infamous moose-man to ask for tips on what to see while I am here. He promptly informed me that he was the best thing in town and invited me to a BBQ at his place. I accepted and headed up here. Yesterday he called and asked if I would rather go check some of his bear baits. That was a no-brainer and we met up this afternoon to head to the hills. After he hiked me into the ground we set up on a bait to wait for the evening action. Right as we were getting ready to leave he spotted a bear in the thick brush at 100 yds. After a few minutes he took the shot and dropped the bruin. By the time we made it to the spot it was pretty dark and the bear had rolled down the steep hillside. We looked until it was completely dark and decided to come back tommorow. We then hiked back down the ridge and paddled across the river to the truck, it was awesome. I know that he was banned here a while ago, but dude is first class in my book.

Nope....just like Steve said, Oscar was never banned here.......he's just to busy with himself to ever come visit, even though I find time to go over to his board, LOL........he's top notch in my books, but don't tell him that......he's proud enough the way it is LOL
