I'm sitting in the airport waiting for my flight. Headed to Minneapolis and then on to Edmonton Alberta to chase moose around for a week at Canada Maximas Outfitters.
Snowy Surprise

Had the chance to get out this last weekend here in NW Illinois. It was cold, temps were around 24-27 and had some snow falling on Sunday. Saturday we saw a button buck and a whole bunch of turkeys. Sunday night we hunted by a cornfield that we had seen a good number of deer in on our drive back to camp the night before. Sat from 1:30 pm until dark and saw ABSOLUTELY nothing until the last 15-20 minutes. We had a spike and small 6 point come in to the food plot and walk within 15 yards of the
Realtree and Archer's Choice in Iowa

What a great time I had in Iowa! Had a great camp of people including Ralph & Vicki, Cameron Hanes, Brad & Chris from Realtree and AC Media members Freddy, Joe, Zendal, Bill & myself.
I had the privledge of filming Realtree's Chris Griffin on this trip. Chris is a good guy and definitely can shoot his Hoyt! Between big buck sightings Chris had to put up with my dry sense of humor and lame jokes. Chris took a big ole doe that he was nice enough to donate to the Iowa

Just wanted to give everone a quick update on what all's been happening with Ralph, Vicki & the Posse over the last few weeks...
Last night ralph connected on this beautiful Illinois Buck...
About a week and a half ago Ralph & Vicki scored on these nice bucks at Double B Outfitters in ND...
