the animals in gillette are down a bit. if you go to my ranch by wright, 60 miles south of gillette, you'll find a 54,000 acre ranch with free camping, surrounded by 2300 antelope on just his property. he'll most likely let you hunt for free. let me know and i'll give you his number.

Okay, yeah I think if we went, we would plan on buying them OTC at K-Mart when we arrive. I think we were planning on bow hunting around early-mid September, sometime in September at least. Just does though, my friend and I can't afford buck tags. Do you know if there is a campground in Gillette that's fairly inexpensive?

i'm not, dakota. but i still can. i have no idea what a doe tag is. i think if you wait until september, they are 25 bucks each, maximum 5 tags. i can set you up in a hunting area, where to go and all, but i'll be in alaska until the middle of september. so, i won't be around to help. what you really need is land, and theres lots of that with plenty of animals. bow or rifle???

Hey Steve, I've got a quick question for ya'! Are you still guiding antelope hunters this coming September? And, this sort of goes hand-in-hand with the last question, what is the price of a doe/fawn antelope tag if that was all a hunter was going after?

we had a nice christmas and new years. just dawn and i but we went to friend for big christmas dinner and went across street to new neighbors for a few drinks before new yrs. was -18 f last night so we stayed home and kept the place warm. if you get down to colo look us up. im still laid off but hope to hear about a job in mancos on mon tue or wed. not much else new except time to plan for fall hunts already. be well.

Steve, I'll have to pass on this one. We're gone for a few weeks on and off to bowhunt mulies in the desert and watch the illegals in our off time.
