After a couple years of promising and trying, we finally got my little girl to the big city for aher first real, live NHL hockey game. It was the Pens vs the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The family and I were in Tampa last Saturday to see the Lightning - Capitals game, it was AWESOME

Almost wish we'd have had tickets for yesterday's game against the Lightning. Pens SQUASHED them 8-1 !!!!

Tampa has got to be a Canadian's dream city..................... sun, sand and HOCKEY !!!!!!!!

LOL ............. we have had a great winter with no snow, I have all the sand a guy could want within minutes of where I live and all along the coast around here ............ but, the closest NHL team is in Montreal which is a $500 flight or a 24 hour drive one way .......... I take the family south every winter, the Tampa game was my bonus this time
