It sure was. I don't know how he passed inspection with no rear end.Going to the front, with half the weight!

great race![]()
I thought it was a good race, however, I have to ponder one thing...are the cars in the top 10 in the top 10 because they are that much better than the rest of the field OR do you think the other cars don't race them as hard in fear of wrecking one of them? Just seems odd to me that 6 of the top ten drivers finished in the top 10 of this race! Aside from a few other cars, it seems that the guys running for the championship are only racing themselves, everyone else gets out of the way!![]()
I missed half of the race, I guess hunting comes first, because there is always replays!Although that might be part true Snapper, it is a good point!
I think they are that good. There is a reason they are in the Chase and the other guys aren't. Besides those 10 drivers, there are only about 5 more that had a shot at the top 10.
I dont think anybody was whining about it, but, did you hear mark martin in the post race interview, was he disappointed. It sounded like he was going to cry or something. i am still disappointed to see him and Rusty go next year.

What, no love for Terry, I tell ya, Rudd will be gone in 2 years also.
I don't think that had a thing to do with aero. There is no air on the rear bumper of the car, on the spoiler yes. He did have a lot lighter car, you have to admit that. But, I figured he'd have something when getting the lucky dog.
If you look at the driver standings you will see that the top 10 drivers have won 27 of 35 races and that the average is for 5 of them to be in the top ten every race.
I'll even quote him.
"I got a fender underneath him before that last restart. On that last restart the car got tight and he was gone."
Hmm...nothing about the rear end?The car was fine. I just think that no rear bumper made the car that much lighter. Just compensate with the adjustments and you'll be good to go. I still don't know where he said it was an aero problem. That qoute is direct from his post-race interview.

Terry Labonte? He is leaving to?![]()
Gordon is my fav. driver, but i agree, having the lighter rear end did help. Not as much weight.
But still, he did come back to the front.
