    Haven't seen the details yet, but the headlines say that Jr. lost the appeal, 25 point deduct remains.

    Yep, I saw that too. It'll be a shame if he loses the championship because of it. But, like he said on his ESPN interview, if that happens, there will be an * by that person.

    i think I have finally just come to understand that he cussed and that is it I guess. I am a hardcore junior fan, and the emotion level was high, but I guess if that is there penalty by Nascar, then that is there decision. now if somebody else cusses and nothig happens then I will blow up!

    I understand he broke a rule and has to take the penalty like a man. However, my biggest gripe is that if you listen to any tv shows (sitcoms) on any of the big net works, they use cuss words in their scripts. Why is it that Nascar feels they have to crack down because of the FCC, but the FCC doesn't seem concerned?

    I'll tell ya what I remember . Back in 1986 when I was leaving a Martinsville Bush race and I had Mark Martins hauler all over my butt halfway home ! Thats what I remember. Like I wasnt driving fast enough as it was
