Default Winter meetings...who do you want for christmas?

I wish the Dodgers would pull off the Zito trade. Get rid of Bradley(great talent, terrible PR) and one top level and one mid level prospect. That would make my holiday..

Manny is a double edged sword. My luck, he would come to LA and lose his offense, never had defense so we'd be snake bit.

Wouldn't mind pulling a trade for Kearns or Wily Mo either. Or even the Rays' Gaithwright.

Doesn't matter what the Tribe would do. Cleveland is just plain snake bit.

Well, all the talk from yesterday is that we're trying to sign David Wells now. If San Diego doesn't work something out with him, then rumor has it he'll be in Dodger Blue next year.

We're also reportedly after Damon and Mueller and looks like the Cubs may have jumped into the forefront on the Bradley trade. So far that makes three teams very interested in Bradley: A's, Cubs, and Pirates.

I right fielder who can hit the long ball. Kevin Millwood back in a Tribe uni, and a few more arms for the bullpen.

Looks like the Blue Jays just signed AJ Burnett. They're trying to compete in the east...

All I hope is the Pirates get some power in right field and/or third base and a couple young arms.....and they better stay away from Bradley!!

Looks like you might be right on the Manny and Damon trades, Mick. But don't look now, but the Sox are shopping Renteria. The Braves look to be the front runners with Tampa Bay in the mix. The Sox would come away with SS Julio Lugo to name one.

Rumor has it that the Reds have traded Sean Casey to the Bucs, BB11. In turn, the Bucs might turn around and ship Casey to the Dodgers for Bradley...

I just want Rocket to make up his mind whether or not he's coming back. if not, Millwood would look good in brick red. But if the 'Stros do like they usually do, we'll lose Clements, not resign Roy-O, and lose 3 or 4 in spring training to injuries.

If that's true Kevin, I have no idea what the Devil Rays are thinking. For one thing, they have a stud SS coming up in the minors, BJ Upton, I guess they'd move him to 3B, but on top of that, Lugo's a nice player. I'd take him on my team anyday, contact hitters with his speed and glove aren't that easy to come by. Plus, he's not making anything close to Renteria. With that core of young talent the Devil Rays have, I wouldn't mess with the chemistry, all they need is starting pitching and they never do anything about it??

Oh yeah, can someone please tell me why my Tribe gave Paul Byrde 7 mil a season but wouldn't sign Kevin Milwood back?? Bad move right there.

A darn PITCHER! (Texas Rangers)--maybe one who can throw it over the plate without it getting sent to orbit

Casey is a Pirate but I havent heard about the Casey for Bradley rumor though. It would make more sense because the Pirates have a future star at first base ready to go out of their minor league system. I have no idea why they would go waste their best lefty from last year on a first baseman when they already have one and have obvious holes at third and right field.

Did you ask this with a straight face? Where do you live again? Cleveland.

That's the answer to your question BTW, Cleveland.
