    Default Finally unloaded Bradley

Not exactly sure what the Dodgers think they're doing, but I'm glad Bradley is gone. He's a great player but a hinderance in the clubhouse.

Rumors have us trying to pick up Damon but I'm against it. We've already got a prototypical lead off hitter in Furcal, now we need power in the outfield.

If we do get Damon, then we better trade for Dunn. We'd have to give up 3 high prospects for him but we'd be a shoe-in for the playoffs.

He went to Oakland along with Antonio Perez(great hitter with no defense) for the A's top Double A outfielder, Deither.

Kind of ironic. The kid won the Sporstmanship award during the Arizona Fall league. Opposite end of the spectrum from Bradley, huh??

Chris...I've heard that Sizemore and Hafner are going to the Yankees for Carl Pavano and Bernie Williams.

give it up Chris, Sizemore's not going any where. Shapiro isn't GM of the Year for nothing. And before you say he got lucky, he also was award a few times when he was the Indians farm director. He's proven, just like Sizemore is, and the two of them, and the rest of the gang are going to win the central, regardless of how much money the pale hoes spend.(wink, wink, chuckle, chuckle...muggsy....OUT!!)

    Oh yeah, Sizemore. Brandy, right?

1 year proves him eh, Eric?

You want to lose another bet?

BTW--I heard about that trade too Kevin. Don't you just love the free agent/trade season?

GRADY Sizemore was a stud football player at Washinton U too. He also was one of the best AAA players in 03 along with his teamate Jhonny Peralta, yet another stud on the Tribe. Add to that the season he had, and the fact that he gives his all everygame...yup...proven in my book.

That reminds me Kevin, it's Peralta, Crisp, Sizemore and Hafner to the Yanks for Povano, Bernie Williams, and Enrique Wilson.

The bet is on Chris...talent wins, not throwing away money on washed up vets ala the Yanks.

Cliff Lee, big CC, Westbrook, Hafner, Crisp, Sizemore, Peralta, Victor Martinez...and watch out for a kid by the name of Ryan Garko...serious big league bat potential.

Looks like a solid start and Shapiro's not done, just wish we could lose Eric Wedge, if we had a decent manager we would have won the central last season.

Wedgie would make a great beer... err...softball league skipper, the only manager I've seen that relied on the long ball more was the human rain-delay Mike Hargrove.

the word "sacrifice" is not in either one of those loser's vocab.

Tribe to win central in '06...you heard it hear first Pileski.

I can't believe the Yanks are actually throwing in Pavano. Heck, Bernie could command the same talent exchange without him....

    The freshest news out there:

The Dodgers are about to sign Mueller to a lucrative contract. We are also expected to sign Kenny Loftin and Reggie Sanders to complete our outfield.

Now if we could just resign Weaver and then trade for Adam Dunn, we'd be set.

Yep, set right there behind the Padres and Giants.

Oh, and uh, Eric. Cleveland wrote the book on signing washed up veterans. We signed Wicky, didn't we?

You need to stick with predicting the American League, Chris.

I doubt the Giants finish ahead of the Rockies...

If you ask me, Enrique Wilson is the deal sealer on that one.

Oh, and umm, Chris. Though I'm not a huge fan of a closer that's in worse shape then my Dad, he did lead the league in saves last year, and has been formidable over the past three seasons. Like I said, I'd like to have Hoffman here instead, but old gator-arms Wicky ain't washed up...well he might be this year, but the original contract the Tribe gave him worked out for both sides...a lot better than the contract the Yanks gave Jaret Wright, another dude Cleveland lost that drove fans nuts, but low-and-behold, only showed Shapiro's genius yet again.

    BELIEVE IT!!

Good. You can have Mueller. I was going to flip if the Pirates spent half their remaining payroll on him.
