    Default BOWDEN STEPS DOWN

Bobby's son Jeff has resigned from his job as offensive coordinator for Florida State. ( Effective at the end of the season)

Dang, sure wish he'd have done that back in September..................

According to the Athletic Director for the college............Bobby will coach for as long as he wants to there. I think he will die coaching football. If he retires, he'll die soon after. Kinda like Bear Bryant.

yeah they are pretty good, but the main complaint was that their offense was way to predictable... hopefully we won't have to read Jeff's thoughts on yahoo or espn like we do Terry's... i love bobby, but geesh the kids drive me nuts.

not until Paterna retires (or dies). I think the two of them are in a little competition to see who can coach the longest--too bad for the teams.

Did you see what he got to leave?

    537K from the boosters.
He retains his present $141,000 salary until his contract expires next August. He will then receive annual payments of $107,500 until August 2012.

If I could get that from here I would quit yesterday.

Yeah, but you know it's gotta be somewhat embarassing for him to have go thru this, being a BOWDEN.
