I'm getting sick just listening to ESPN make excuses for why OSU lost. They are setting here saying if they woulda played this game in September that OSU woulda won, and the fifty day lay off is why they lost. Man give the kids their props....they came and played. They didn't just barely win....they kicked the butts. Sorry but that just gets under my skin!

Glad I can't get ESPN right now. From my viewpoint, OSU gat OUTPLAYED and outcoached. 51 days to get a scheme together, and having a supposed explosive offense that they had, that game should have been closer that it was. Oh wait, OSU also lost Ted Ginn, BOOOHOOOOO. To me, that showed that OSU relied on two players, Ginn and Smith, whereas Florida relied on a TEAM, and the better prepped team won.

The Buckeyes are a better team than they showed...but does that matter? Its their fault if they don't show up, and even if they did play to their potential, they by no means would have won.

Florida's play calling was impressive, and their defense dominated. I haven't seen anyone do that to our Oline...period.

Hard to argue a 41-14 score anyway.

You got that right, it will be about how they lost it, for pete's sake, Florida came to play and play they did. Florida never got any credit, you could see it in all the pre-game hype that focused primarily on Ohio State.

I say the best team of those 2 won, each had time to be prepared, heck Ohio State had even more time.

Sometimes its best to turn off ESPN and just get on here and beat down muggs!

the "best" big game coach didnt do his job. and as far as espn goes. they hate the fact that a team from the sec won.espn would have much rather seen usc and osu especially, doug flutie. that guy,i thought he was supposed to know something about football.i mean he thought a team, from the big east should have been playing last night

Florida outplayed and outcoached, they wanted it more and maybe Ohio State got lazy and never considered how tough the Gators would be!

51 days of hearing how good you are for OSU. 37 days of hearing how bad you're gonna lose for Florida...not a good combination.

When a good team doesn't get the respect it deserves, they earn it. That's what Florida did, gotta give them their due credit.

The Buckeyes sure seem to think all they had to do was go through the motions and they just be handed the trophy. At the very least, I hope some of the younger Buckeyes learned something.

Agree OSU did not prepare for this game with the enthusiasm Fl did. Florida felt fortunate to make that game and did everything they could to prove they could win. OSU came out flat and FL was ready for them plain and simple. Now if this game was played a week or two after the reg season do I think there would have been a different outcome. Who knows, but it would not have been as lopsided.

I do need you to pick me a NFL team to root for in 2007, as long as Millen's in charge of my Lions all I know about is losing, now I know how you feel now with your Buckeyes! So I need a new NFL team in 2007 to root for.

If Favre comes back, they go 10-6 next year. Probably good enough for #3 or #4 in the NFC.

Agree. Reminds me of the 2003 NC game. All along we heard how Ohio State doesn't have a chance against Miami and what did they do? Ohio State won the game.

Also reminds me of the first super bowl the Broncos and Elway won. Nobody gave them a chance against the Packers, but they beat them for the title.
