so watching the seahawks and bears game today and i think it was joe buck....one of those bucks..was referring to the sixe of the spikes and asked troy aikman which was larger 1/2" or 5/8"....lol...i was stunned thinking this guy must be kidding, he prolly went to some big university and is saying something like this?....troy aikman laughed and said...i think 5/8" is bigger by about an 1/8 of an inch...good television folks.

Joe Buck is a waste of oxygen. The guy never knows what he is talking about. When I was walking out of Gillete Stadium after the Pats beat the Bears he went driving by on a golf cart holding everyone up from getting back to the tailgating in the parking lot. Lets just say the New England fans let him know that he wasnt wanted.

Sounds like management at the last place I worked. They were college educated but didn't have any common sense. Pretty sad that an idiot can make more money than an average joe with common sense just because he has a college education.

Yep, I heard it. I turned to my wife laughing and said "did Joe Buck just admit to the world that he doesn't know the difference between 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8?????"

Wow. Actually, I was surprised Aikman knew the answer. lol.

I thought it was a joke too, Buck seems to have pretty dry sarcasm that's hard to pick up on sometimes. I'd have a hard time believing he was serious about not knowing that.

LOL I use to have to describe it as 5/8 is two little dashy lines past that long dashy line to the people I used to work with.

i heard that also--was thinking the same thing--surely he's joking. But nope--he honestly did not know the that 5/8 was bigger than 1/2. You could tell in Troy's tone he thinking--"Get a brain dude."
