The Pats will always miss Adam. He will go down in New England sports history. I thank him for everything he did for the Patriots during his time here. I am very confident in the new kicker we have. He is able to kick the ball very well and does have more distance than Adam. Will he make every game winning opportunity? Most likely not but I do have confidence in him everytime he takes the field. Good luck to Adam this weekend and in everything he does. Break a leg.

Other than the kick that gave them the lead, has your kicker been in any other big games, or has kicked longer than 51 yards this season? If he hasn't kicked longer than 51 yards, then he doesn't have more leg distance than Vinateri.

Not necessarily related to this thread, but yesterday on Mike & Mike, Joe Theisman said that the Colts signing AV was the "best move of the off-season". I didn't know AV was a better pick up than Drew Brees and drafting Reggie Bush.

I love these half-butted sports "analysis" guys. All you have to do is make a couple plays and your the player of the year.
