    Default Offerman goes off

Offerman, playing in an independant league, homered in his first at bat, get's beaned the second time around, and charges the mound - with his bat!

I remember him with the Red Sox, Dodger, and Mets, I cant think of anymore, but i think he was pretty much a journeyman.

Geez oh man. I didn't realize guys (especially former major leaguers) took the independent leagues so serious.

"Offerman goes off" - yeah, off to jail!

There will probably be one very rich minor league pitcher and catcher when this thing is said and done.

Not to hijack your thread, but has anyone seen that DHL commercial about Kenny Loften? Hilarious. I love when the guy is delivering Lofton's stuff to the Mets, and the guy redirects him to another city. Priceless.
