They beat them in 6 games and the Indiana had the best record in the NBA. And if I remember right, didnt the the pistons KILL the Lakers by about 20 points in the regular season BEFORE they made their trade for Rasheed Wallace and Mike James?

I think this may be an excellent series. The Lakers havnt seen the pistons since they made their trades. The Lakers have big names but that doesnt mean squat. I could see this series going to 7 games. Go Pistons and Big Ben.

The lakers do not play quite the same this time of the year that they do in the regular season as has been proved in the past. Look for tonights game to be a good one.

Yeah, I agree that the Lakers play better in the post season. But I don t think anybody plays the same game in the post season as they do in the regular season! The Pistons can win when they try hard enough.....and I think that also has been proved. I wouldnt be making any bets on this series....Dorthy

What a awesome game by both sides..cant wait to watch tomarrow night. Lakers are going to have their hands full trying to stop Wallace now that Malone can't hardly get up the court.

P.S---someone call David Stern and tell him this 9:15 start time is crap. I felt like a zombie all day.

you think the Lakers are going to take all 3 games in detroit eh. This is how i see it....The Lakers Lost game 1 by 12 points AT HOME...then...it takes them an extra 5 minutes to beat the Pistons in game 2..WHICH THEY(the lakers) CAME VERY CLOSE TO LOSING...all of this on their home court...and now they have to go to Detroit for 3 straight games..and with the crowd the Pistons have...it is going to be tough on the lakers...PISTONS IN 5!

Hate to say it but think it would be in the best interest of the lakers not to play Karl Malone tonight. Think they played better with him off the floor.
