For all of u that have helped me with my problem of not being able to talk to this girl i like i need even more help now. at the end of my other post (speechless HELP asap) i said that i found out that she liked one of my friends. well this past monday he asked her out and she said yes. the kid ive known for the past three years and we have been the best of friends. he didnt even say anything about liking her and he knew i liked her. then out of the blue he stabs me in the back and asks her out. well it happened in the morning and i didnt know about. so at lunch one of my other friends asked me if i was mad and i asked about what. he told me what happened and the kid who had asked the girl i like out was sitting right next to me at the lunch table. i looked at him and then looked at the rest of the kids at my lunch table. the oldest of my friends looked at my backstabbing friends and said,"man your a little b****. why would u do that to him when u know he likes her." the kid didnt say anything and went back to eating his lunch. so all over school everybody was telling me how sorry they were about what happened and how much of a jerk the kid was being. what i need to know is what do i do now. the girl i like is taken by a kid thats being a total jerk and i still really like her alot.

I'M A OLD FART BUT JUST WANT TO LEND THIS ADVISE.

GIRLS COME AND GO, REAL FRIENDS DO NOT. THIS WAS A BAD THING FOR HIM TO DO BUT DON'T GO BURNING BRIDGES. WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL I HAD 3 REALLY CLOSE FRIENDS. WE ALL AGREED THAT WE WOULD NEVER DO THIS TO EACH OTHER. LOOKS LIKE YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS TALK. DON'T FORGET, YOU TO HAVE TO WALK THE WALK ALSO.

I'D TRY TO FORGET THIS ONE AND LET IT GO. IF YOU WERE TRULY FRIENDS YOU NEED TO MAKE UP AND FORGET IT. IF HE DOES IT AGAIN, THEN HE'S NOT A FRIEND ANYWAYS. MAYBE THIS GIRL APPROACHED HIM. MAYBE HE LIKED HER BEFORE BUT FELT BAD ABOUT TELLING YOU.

ONE THING IS FOR SURE, YOU YOUNGUNS WILL ALL BE MARRIED IN 5-10 YEARS AND THIS GIRL WILL BE LONG GONE, BUT YOU TWO MAY STILL BE FRIENDS HUNTING AND FISHING TOGETHER AND LAUGHING ABOUT THIS EPISODE.

THIS APPLIES TO YOU GIRLS OUT THERE TOO! BOYS COME AND GO FRIENDS DO NOT.

Well man,
You can look at this two ways.....and if I was you, I would look at it my way.

My Way : Shes a girl, and girls should not come between friends under any circumstances unless your involved in a serious relationship with a girl and your friends moves in on her, this simply isn't your case. The girl you like obviously likes someone else, and she can't help that. And your friend can't help it either. Now he should have turned her down, but like i always said growing up..."If he can take her can have cause she isn't worth having then." How old are you bud? Unless your over 15 years of age, I would sweat this very much. Junior High is rough times for dating cause all the girls are big flirts and it can reak havoc on your life lol, trust me I was there once. Just forget about her, and this crush will pass. Go fishin and get her off your mind.

The Other Way: You can get mad at her, and him and lose a friend of 3 years over a girl you might have never had a chance with, and also lose any chance you have with her down the road by being a jerk towards them. Sure you will feel better, but you'll have the bigger loss in the end.

I am telling you this from expierence. A good friend of mine dated Jenn when he knew how I felt about her and I was mad, but I got over it, and look what happened. In the end I won her over, and we've been together for two years +. Good luck in what you decide.

Yeah don't worry bout that. Had the Exact thing happen to me in 8th grade.

Well if he just did that b/c you liked her than he wasnt being a loyal friend....Just hang around her and try to become friends again...and maybe she will like you more than friends
