    we were going to WY hunting and we saw it on the side of the road and when we came back it was dead and i looked at its eyes and it didn't have any..

    Very unlikely to find many blind animals, let alone mature ones, outside of a zoo or pet. Especialy not a bird with that many predators, they would have too much dificulty finding food or a place to roost, can't land on a branch you can't see.
    Someone may have taken a head shot at it and didn't drop it but a pellet got its eyes. The bird dies eventualy due to other wounds from the shot or due to the blindness robing it of the ability to find food and shelter.

    We found a box turtle once in the woods that had no eyes! It had shelter from predators though if needed. We would feed it tomatoes and such. I guess its posible for animals to survive like humans do with disabilities!

    Never saw a blind turkey...................but I have seen a turkey blind.

    I saw a blind turkey...he was blind right after i shot em in the head with a 12 gauge!!
