The Greatest Idea Ever

Alright so here is my final english project for the year
the class is called Great Ideas so we have to come up with wat we think is the greatest idea ever
i need some suggestions
we can do anything from Wal-Mart, or the pen or paper to pretzel salt ANYTHING GOES
any suggestions
this paper is more of a persuasive thing (7 pages)
oh not Wal-Mart

if im correct its about inventing something? like and idea of inventing something... if i was you. id make a walking decoy, i think thatd be pretty sweet and make it realistic and i think would work great

I'm pretty sure he has to say the greatest idea ever invented, and explain how it is useful to society, etc etc...

I personally would say the engine. Think of how many different types of engines are used in the world today and imagine what this world would be like with no engines. Heck there's gas, diesel, electric, all kinds of differnet motors/engines. That's what I'd pick. I could come up with 7 pages on engines in about 7 minutes!

If you want a good paper that's fairly easy to research and write, do one on the semiconductor computer chip. Lots of readily available information out there and it is argueably one of the most influencial inventions of the past few centuries. Other candidates are the printing press, germ theory and representative forms of government.
