Big Bear Last night

Although we have plenty of black bears in the Comox Valley, there have been few sightings on this particular farm due to it's location. It is surrounded on 3 sides with subdivisions and the 4th side is the bay. There is however a small green-way which goes from the farm, up through the subdivision above the farm, and out of town behind the gulf course., which permits the occasional unwelcome guest to the farm and neighborhood.

Don't know a lot about bears, but sure looks like a good sized one to me Steve. Cool clip, hope your buddy had some luck with his hunt.

Nice Steve, I'd love to see a bear in the wild. Pretty rare down here though.

I stopped in this morning, to bring some deer sausage to Helen who is the farmer's wife. She said yesterday the bear was in her neighbor's garbage around noon-ish..
Wilf and I were there yesterday morning and evening and never saw it.
So at least I know now that it's still hanging around and didn't just pass through.
Wilf picked up a bear tag, and I will to.
