    Default Wood Duck Island

    Wood Duck Island - YouTube

    A mating pair of Wood Ducks find a resting place on an island formed by the drought stricken creek behind my place. Although pretty common they are a rare sight in the neighborhood. It might be time to put up a Wood Duck box. They may be looking for a place to nest.

    seems like they are hunkered right down to that island. wouldn't hurt to put a box up.
