What would be a good 1st time Camera?

I am very interested in getting a Film camera that is SLR ? i guess. I am looking for something relativly cheap. What would be a good Camera to start off with? Do any of you guys have one for sale? Just looking for a good quality camera. Pleae help me out

I have a Nikon and and more than happy with it..So I would have to reccomend it.
