Digital Camera

I'm looking at buying a digital camera. What would you recommend? I'm looking for something I can use for outdoors shots (something with a zoom to use in the treestand) as well as something for the wife to use for your standard everyday pics.

What do you have or would you suggest I look into? Any pros or cons for cameras would be apprieciated to help in the purchase decision.

I have the FujiFilm FinePix S7000, awesome camera, but the zoom is only 6x. I am not worried about high power zooms, i just get closer! LOL! I feel the quaility of the photo is better, the longer the zoom the more shake without a tri-pod. The lens has the equivalent to 35-210mm on a 35mm camera. For the money Fuji is not bad, but I really wanted a Nikon D100, but way too much money!

I just bought a Fujifilm S3100 for a trip to Colorado. Has the 6x optical zoom. Bought a 128 mb card for it and took over 100 pics with no problems.

Seems to work great and easy to download. Haven't used the movie function yet.

I have the Hp 735 Photosmart. Bought it for $180 at Walmart. It can take up to 4 minutes of live video. The video downloads in an AVI file.
It also has different settings of picture quality.

I own a HP and take it in the woods everytime. Cant go wrong with HP, very easy software also.

I just bought the Sony DSC-F828 Cybershot 2 months ago. 8 megapixels/Zeiss lens/ night vision /7X zoom. It's loaded. But, very expensive. good thing they take time payments...lol
