Default Deer movement cut down dramtically?

Hey, I went to check my camera today and I was absolutely shocked to see only 2 pictures taken in a week. I used to be gettin 15-25 in a week or two weeks span, does anyone know why there could be a sudden drop? Would the weather have anything to do with this, it has been really hot, could it just be too hot for all that movement? Any suggestions could help. thanks.

If it was mainly does and they are having fawns, that might temporarily change their patterns. Weather could also be a factor.

It is about 97* right now. I don't expect any mammals to be out and about. I expect them to be bedded somewhere cool.

I notice the same thing every year.......I won't be seeing much buck activity in the normal areas till the beginning of July.......end of May and all of june are usually pretty dead as far as game camera action is concerned......I think those ol' does keep the bucks run off as they protect their maternal interests.......as well as trying to keep most everything else run off

The same thing happened to me and Magnus Bro. We went to check our deer cams and they were both holding about 80 percent less pictures on them. I just assumed it was from the heat. I has been awfully hot here in NW Ohio.

you never know there could be a number of reasons....too much human scent on the trail so they stopped using it for a while you never know.
