Anyone used one or checked one out yet? Cabela's has them for like $100.00. Just sounds too "cheap"......
Would like to hear opinions on one for a first trail camera....
Thanks

A guy at work is supposed to buy one of these. It is a good price, espicially if you do not care about having the best pic quality and if it has good battery life.
i hope this isnt brand bashing but any camera with .3 mega pixels will suck.
I'd have to agree with slughunter, my digital camera takes videos at that quality, and it's really not worth using, especially when I can take pictures at 4mp.
I think .3 is what most camera cell phones use, it looks good on the camera screen but if you look at it on a computer screen or print it, it will be all grainy.
I have seen that unit in the cabelas catalogs and they do stand behind what they sell, but you usually get what you pay for.

I have to disagree. I have a pair of Capture View binocs that are .3 mp, and as long as you do not try to blow them up the pics are fine. You would be suprised.....
Being a Stealth Cam dealer I have been asked this question many times over the last few months so I decided to use one myself and was surprised at the results. This camera takes extremely good photos for the price. Don't let the .3mp or 300,000 pixles fool you. You can only put 300,000 pixles on a 4x6 picture no matter what mp camera you are using. The only reason you would need more than .3mp would be if you are going to inlarge the pictures. I have had my camera out for close to 2 months now and have not had to replace the first set of batteries. I think this camera is a great deal for the price espically for the hunter who needs more than one camera or theft is a concern. Plus in less than you would spend on 8 rolls of film plus developing this camera would pay for itself.
If anyone is intersted in one of these cameras or more information about them please shoot me a pm.
