Default First Roll Of Film This Year

I put out my camera two weeks ago and got a lot of pictures. From does to bucks to horses to tractors, I got a little of everything. Most of my pictures of bucks were further away and didn't show up all that well after I scanned them, but here are a few of the clear pictures. I put out my camera again...I can't wait to see how these guys grow!

    Pretty Doe:

    Nice Buck:

Another different buck (notice his left antler is bleeding near the brow tine...what do you think caused this? do you think it will affect his antler?):

    Might be still seeing stars...

    Horse:

    Finally the tractor:

I don't know. I have seen shed antlers and bucks that have been shot with tunnel like holes through the antler bone. Some people say it was bacteria that did it, but it really comes from damage done to the antlers in velvet.

if you have ever felt a deers antlers and velvet, its very soft, and almost like those old stretch armstrong dolls, thats how they feel, or if you dont dont what those are it feels like jelly, that buck might have been running and hit his antler on a sharp stick or something and it might have cut his velvet open a little bit, my neighbor has a mount of a deer that has a stick incrested inside the antler, when the buck was in velvet he ran into a stick in a tree and it got stuck in the antler and when the velvet harded it never came out...dont worry about thet cut though, he will be just fine, soon it will grow over like a scab with knew velvet.

That is one of our next door neighbors who we let ride their horses on our property. They watch out for the property since we dont live there and they run off the occasional trespasser. And, they let us ride their horses! Pretty nice deal...and, really great neighbors!
