First time mine jumped off a pier, he went underwater and didn't want anything to do with the pier again! LOL That is a hilarious photo of the dog on the float! LMAO
a great lookin' black lab. I am having so much fun with mine right now. Getting ready to start force break retrieve training here. She has a strong desire to retrieve but wants to drop the bumper as soon as she gets to the shore.

I've found the easiest way to break her from dropping the bumper early was to take off running away from her as she gets near the shore. She'll forget all about dropping the bumper or shaking off and will come running to you. At some point, stop and face her, make her sit, and deliver to hand. It only took a few times and she got the picture. Hope this helps
