Default Mineral Lick and Velvet Bucks

Well, it's been 3 weeks, so I went and checked out my cameras.....and I also took some more mix out to replenish my mineral lick sites.........man am I glad I did, my two main sites EACH took 5 gallons of mineral mix to fill back up to the top......the deer are really hittin' them hard.......

Got tons of pics, was hoping for some of some fawns, but we've had so much rain (thanks God, we needed it) and the grass is so high, that you can barely make them out in a couple pics......so i opted not to post them......but here is just a few others.........no monsters yet......relocated a couple of cameras hoping to catch sight of my big 8

First pic of some decent velvet growth.......

Here's a couple of young bucks hitting the mineral.....

And I like this last one.......shooting out pretty wide, just making the turn....

Nice deer and pics! The last one's comin' along nicely. That area looks awesome with the grass growing amoung the trees like that. Is that type of thing common 'round there?

We get a decent amount of moisture usually, but we've been a pretty good drought the past few years........this spring and summer have made up for it......it rains like every 3 days.....we're getting hit hard again today......the entire State of ND is in a flood watch/warning right now.......

So this is an exceptional year for plant growth.....alot of farmers that didn't get their crop in before mid-May, haven't had a chance to get back into the fields due to all of the rain........gonna be a good year for Antler growth, and deer health !!!
