Phil Vassar Concert - Pics

Sometimes it's amazing how things turn out. i was dead tired and kinda dreading doing this last concert for the week. Got to the fair late (only 15 minutes before the grandstand opened) and found that the normally long line for the concert wasn't very long. Guess with everyone going back to work and the people that went broke buying $3 cans of beer all week at the fair decided to skip this last concert... boy did they make a BIG MISTAKE!!! This was IMO the second best concert of the week. Phil is a class act and I'ld go see him in concert again in a second. His band is not the typical country band but they all are great musicians. During the concert they played mostly Phil's songs but they also through in some AC/DC, Van Halen, Georgia Satillites, Billy Joel and other songs like Play that Funky Music, Workin for a Livin and others. For the band introductions each member of the band sang lead vocals for a different song. Great crowd participation and a high energy concert, if you get the chance to go see Phil, go, I was impressed. The last pic on here is kinda neat and has a good story behind it, I'll post that story in the lounge if you want to read it. Ok on to the pics...
