Here is my suggestion....I would get on ebay and but a Sony P41 Digital camera and go to Pix Controller.com and buy a kit. The instructions to build it are on the website. The camera will cost you about 140.00 and the kit plus case will cost around 65.oo. You will have a fun time building it, and only 205.00 in a 4 mp Digital camera. If you wanted to get fancy for only around 10 bucks more you can get a kit to make it IR capable. Good luck. I am in the process of building 2 cams and a video. Its addictive.
We don't have a digital camera but if we got one IO think the Kodak Easy shares are pretty nice and reasonably priced.
I have a Kodak EasyShare 5MP, LOVE IT! It takes some pretty nice shots.
Here's some i've taken with it.

wow, that is great quality, keep em coming folks, has anyone heard or has about the Konica Minolta Dimage Z10 3MP Digital Camera with 8x Optical Zoom. I am kinda interested in that one. Anybody heard anything about that one?
TheDanishDanger,
I can't tell you what it will do or how the pics look out of the camera, but, I can tell you it's a fairly "cheap" made camera. I looked at one a few weeks ago & it feels like very cheap plastic (like a toy!?) & is flimsy feeling in your hand. Don't get me wrong though.. I'm not saying it's "junk" or anything, It's probably a good camera & takes great pics.. I don't know!?
I just bought the DiMAGE Z5 a couple weeks ago & am VERY happy with it thus far! You have seen what the Z5 is capable of.. all of the pics I have taken w/it & posted here are straight from the camera. The only thing I have done to them is resize & compress them so they don't take up so much space in my gallery. They actually look quite a bit better than what you see me posting.
If you want to find some reviews, go to Google & type in Konica Minolta Dimage Z10 Reviews, you will find out everything you want to know about the camera.
Good luck, I hope whatever you choose works for you!
Here is a link to some usefull info on digital cameras.
