VanZant and Me!

I bumped into the band 38 Special, in a tavern while I was working in another city last week. I hung out with them for several hours and made some good friends. I was given some Back Stage passes and attended the show they put on and hung out with these guys off an on for two days! I met Donnie VanZant (awesome guy) and exchanged phone numbers with some of them to keep in touch. Talk about a down to earth bunch of guys!! Here are some pics. I am the ugly guy in the black sleeveless shirt.

very cool man. I've met Johnny Van Zant and some other members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Love Donnie's music as well. Did he sing any songs off the new Van Zant CD during the show or just 38 special tunes?

Yes, he sang the song "Help Somebody" and the crowd went nuts. Man what a great guy, really glad I got the opportunity to hang out with them.
