lol---i've also had problems with coons and squirrels climbing the poles. Get you a big tub of vasoline and coat the legs--that put a stop to it pretty quick. Funny--you can see claw marks in the vasoline where the critters tried to climb but just couldn't make it. This was over a year ago and the legs are still greasy from the vasoline--it works great.

Kinda reminds me of a few years back when I wasn't tall enough to reach the fruit rollups in the pantry.. lol.. my brother used to get on all fours and I used to stand on his back and he would lift me up and I would get 2 fruit roll ups.. one for him and one for me.
