I need some place to hunt

is there any one in the waterloo/cedar falls Iowa area or close by that has a place that i could hunt??? or is there some public ground that is close??? I go to school in cedar falls and have been looking for a place to hunt deer with my bow and would apperciate it if someone would reply and help me out!!!!

go to wal-mart or a sporting goods store and buy a gazette it will show county by county all of the public land, how big it is, and any regulations you will need to know. It is very handy, every single road in iowa is on there! They are 17.99

I want to hunt during the week
and as much as gas cost it is expensive to go home every weekend

Get an Ariel of your general area, find spots that you think would be good hunting. Get out and talk to farmers and offer them work in return. The least you will get from them is a no, good luck!
