    Default Digital slr camera question

Looking at getting a new digital slr. Have an old maxxum 7000 film camera and 4 lenses for it. The new minolta maxxum cams are supposed to accept the full line of minoltas maxxum series of lenses. Was looking at the 5d. Butterfly photo has a pretty good price on the camera. Anyone had any experience with these cams?

If you already have lenses that will fit your new camera, you may want to stay with the system. In my opinion, Nikon and Canon by far lead the pack in digital technology. Canon is probably #1.

I don't know anything about SLR's, etc, but I know I bought my camera from Butterflyphoto and saved $100!!! Good company to deal with....

I'm not familiar with the Maxxum's . I just boufgr a Cannon difital Rebel. i was told my lenses from my 35mm rebel would work when I bought the digital, but they wouldn't! I ended up investing in lenses anyway. Couldn't be happier with the digital rebel though.
