    Default Leaf River problem...

we just bought a few new leaf river digital game cams. my brother IowaDeerHunter posted some of the first pics with them, and we are very pleased with the quality of the pics, just what we expected. BUT we got numerous, over half, of the pics had no deer in them. By the time the camera goes off the deer or whatever has walked right on by the camera most of the time! I wondered if anyone knew how to change or fix this, something is up with the trigger speed, i can't say i have heard of this type of problem ever with these leaf rivers, just boggles my mind!?!?!? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

The trigger speed is a little slow, you might change how you have it setup. Might not be deer triggering the cam. I get birds flying through that occasionally trigger my leaf river. I had to turn the sensitivity down a little. I still get cardinals and other birds from time to time, but not as bad.

Well all three setups are on deer cane holes. Two of them are pointing straightout on stright ground. The third one is pointing out but the ground angles down, It is on top of a ridge.

Try setting the camera up farther away from the trail or bait. Or maybe angle the cam down the trail instead of straight across.
