Leaf River problem

My Leaf River is heading to the shop. The wire started to fray right where it goes into the door. Guess opening/closing in cold temps affected this wire. Hope that's not the case as I'll not be able to live with a warm temp trail camera.

Emailed LR Sunday night, they responded at 10:00 am Monday and said to send it and they'll fix it for under warranty. Sent today. They said it should be a quick turn time.

Bad timing for it to break...I'm heading up this weekend and then over Christmas for a week. Wanted to see what's coming to my stands.

man, we just bought 3 of them leafrivers and had them setup for 3 months and no problems yet, the LCD viewing screen is hard to see when it gets like 0 degrees but that is like my cell phone and all that. Otherwise no problems, hope they work, at least they have good service!

All of the new models have the new wire now. So this shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Well, I gotta tell ya, this sucks.

I'm here for the last 2 weeks of season and my camera is in the shop.

Sent mine off too. Had to move my stealth cam back out where the leaf river was. Sure hope they get it back to me quick.

Got mine back yesterday morning and it is fixed I guess. Was without it for 9 days total, not too terribly bad for turnaround.
