Leaf river-wires exposed

Been noticing on our leaf river that the outer jacket on the wires going in the door is broken. I have been trying to be careful opening it, but it is getting worse. It is still working fine, but am concerned the wires will eventually get worn and broken. Have not had it for a year yet, should I send it back or just try to tape the wires or something?

If it has a warranty send it back. If not i woudl try some electrical tape first.

boy, that is the 2nd person on here that said that, I would send it back but may wait until like Feb. or Mar. until the bucks are done shedding. Then I would send it in and get it ready for summer

Thanks Mike. Going to try to pull it this afternoon after I get off work, then send it out tomorrow. Hopefully they will not have it too long.
