    Default Camera Conversion

Pardon my stupidity but I was just wondering. Is is possible to convert/upgrade a 35mm trailcam over to digital? In other words, could you replace the existing stock camera with a digital one using the same sensors, boards and such?

I know they're cheap and the photo quality is generally poor (as compared to digital) but Gander Mountain (Greensboro NC) has the low end Stealth cams for $49.99 after rebate. That's a two-pack, so only $25.00 apiece.

Had considered doing the same thing with my old stealth cam that no longer rewinds the film, but just havent had the time to take it apart yet.

    No.
35mm board aren't meant to control digitals. Even if they did, the timing would be off because digitals take longer. And the holes wouldn't line up in the case. A lot easer just to start from scratch and build you own digital.

Hey, I'm a cheapskate. Can't blame a po' man for asking. I figured as much though.
