    Default Leaf River Digital Cam

I got one of these for Christmas this year....anybody use one and can give me some feedback??? I decided on this one over the Cuddeback because I like the viewing screen it has to view pics in the field. I haven't put it out yet but I am this coming weekend.

    Thanks

I have two and plan on getting two more soon........you'll like it better than the Cuddyback, and it won't be because of the view screen.....they're just easier to use and cheaper to boot.

The view screen really isn't as handy as you think, but is a nice additional feature.....I'll be buying the ones without from now on.

We have three and they are nice, for us the flash was too bright for the close shots so we put some camo duct tape on both sides of the flash, then we turned down the sensor range, then we put it on fast trigger censor because it has a slow trigger speed, then we kept getting blank pics or pics of nothing in them we figure it is something with the flash just going off for some reason because it happens at night and exactly every 3 hours, then we also found out that the LCD viewing screen doesn't work in cold weather, the LCD crystals get too cold to work, the same thing happens to cell phones, other than that they work great, take great pics, and we enjoy them! Good Luck with them!

I don't think it will get that cold down here in GA. I think the viewing screen will be handy so you don't have to switch out cards or carry a laptop or other digital camera with you when you check it.

Yep, use cards and get a reader. The screen is nice, but not big enough to really view the pics very well. Been pretty happy with mine aside from having to send it back for the wires in the door, but they did get it back to me really quick so I cannot really complain.
