cool pics looks like a bullet wound or something
cool pics keep posting sum
That doe looks like she might have been shot at and wounded.. but she's still alive. That's a good thing.. Neat pics.. thnx for sharing..
cool pics, I don't have a clue what that is, perhaps a scab of some sort?
I was going to suggest that it may be a warble but with it being cold enough for there to be snow on the ground, I'd say that's highly unlikely.
Anyone else notice the spot back near her tail that is similar in color to the one behind her front leg?
That first pic is neat Bond. I don't what the mark is on the other one.
i think it is a wound probably from a fence or branh doubt it was a bullet wound. I think that would have killed her for sure. Unless she has a kevlar heart...lol
Alisha, good observation.. Maybe someone tried a Texas Heart Shot and was a little off to the left?![]()

actually it wouldent have killed her. my grandpa shot a buck in that spot and he made it out fine then a month later got it and it had the bullet wound that looked simmilar to that on the doe picture.

I appeal......I shot a buck in that same exact spot with my bow last season and it killed him. He ran 200 yards before expiring, and remember, that was from 15' up in a tree!! A shot placed in that location would take out the bottom of the heart. So that deer would be dead if it was hit there. To be honest.....I think its a burr.
The red circle is where the entrance wound is.
Cool.
I think the wound was a bullet or arrow wound, and I think it hit brisket, missing the rib cage.
I think the other dark spot on her rump is mud. If you look close, you can see a streak of hair running through it.
