Default taking in the field photos

Guys ,I'm just a guilty as everyone else here of taking bad pics at one time or another! But I would like to see all that change.I make a conscious effort to do the best of my ability to take clean pleasant pictures! I realize that we may not always have a camera with us in the field ,but once we get to one we can make an effort to find a bush or something nice for a background ,instead of the back of the truck or hanging in the barn or garage. If you like those kind of pictures that is fine, your choice ,but I love to see tastefully done picture in the field of any critter!
I've taken several pictures of the same hogs to show what I mean. you tell me what looks better!

Yep, I'm guilty too. It wasn't until I joined this web-site and started viewing other peoples pictures, that I decided to take a little more time with my own too. They just look so much better and 10 years down the road, they are nothing short of great memories, for passing around in the scrap book.

    Point well taken.

This past year my buddy kind of looked at me weird when I said "OK, let's haul him out of there and get some nice field photos."

The deer I shot this year dressed at 223#, so to haul his butt in and out of the truck and back up again was a chore, but I'm glad I did it.

I like it Glenn! Thanks for the post, we all should strive to be tasteful with our pictures. By the way #1 is my favorite too. You always have good field pics, thanks for taking the time to share them with us.

Yep, field photos are the way to go. That's something I need to improve on... making the animal sorta "look pretty" for the picture...

that top photo is the best by far. here are some of my photos by "the success tree" its hard to see but its just a big pine in the background. they look pretty good to me. we never have a camera in the feild when we need it and i love taking the pics at night with the dark background.

I think it's a matter of personal pride to take the best photos of my game as possible. I'd rather have no photo than what I consider a poor one. Congratulations to those of you that take the few extra moments to make a better photo.
    Here's what I thought was a good shot of a buddy's 1st buck.
