Yes this is anouther moutrie problem. When i got my 200 i noticed that around the ears (the place you use to hook to a bungy) it was a little white like it had been stressed. well it happened went out yesterday and tryed to put it up and it broke off. my question is do u thinj that they will take it under warrenty or not???

Dont know, probably wouldnt hurt to contact them and ask. The plastic around one of the clasp deals on our leaf river broke back on a morning when the temp was around 20, but it does not effect the cam in any way where the plastic onmine broke.

the hole thing with this is thatis the only way to hang it on a tree

Had a similar problem with our stealth cam where the strap went through the plastic broke, but it ended up not working right anyway and it went back to wal mart. The second cam we had from stealth the plastic on the housing broke, I sent stealth cam customer service a message and they sent me a new back.

moutlrie seems to have alot of problems, but they also seem to be very easy to deal with. THey gave me no problems when i sent my back
