    Default bird pic, any ideas?

    Got this pic on our leaf river a couple weeks ago. Have a lot of redtailed hawks around, not sure what this bird is. Anyone got any idea.

    Too big to be a kite. The light coloration on the head and into shoulders are not like any type of dove, pigeon or uh pigeon hawk I have seen before. Seen several types of hawks, but never one like this around here.

    The white bands on the wings suggest it may be a Night-hawk or a Lesser Night-Hawk. The absence of the white throat-patch suggests it might be a female Lesser Night-Hawk.

    Either that or a farm pigeon, and they come in all different colours.
