Snowy Owl Pics

Saw this snowy owl last fall around Thanksgiving and just now got the film developed. The pictures aren't great, but there was clearly some tension in the air as you can see. This was my first snowy owl sighting in Montana. We ended up having a whole pile of these birds winter in Montana this year, making for some great bird watching.

It is AMAZING the hatred crows have for raptors...
I can't tell you how many crows I've shot using a crow /hawk sound out of the Foxpro

Great pics. Watched 3 crows attacking a red tailed hawk yesterday, was pretty wild. Tried to get some pics, but they flew across before I got the camera out and could get focussed in on them.

Cool pics! Oh yeah, crows HATE... absolutely HATE owls. Want to shoot some crows? Put up an owl decoy in a tree and have the 12ga loaded and ready with a crow-call.....
