    Default Moultrie Cam

Im lookin at gettin a Moultrie cam for my birthday.
Is the MFH-DGS-100 Game Spy 100 Digital Camera a good one? Is it a digital cam too? I thought I read somehwere that it has memory, but just wanna make sure. I would get the other one, but my parents won't spend that much on me for my birthday. Thanks to anyone who replies.

Tom2008, before you buy a Moultrie, please read all the post about them you can. Go to this web site http://www.chasingame.com/ there's a lot about Moultrie on there. If you are looking for a inexpensive digital game cam check out the Wildview Extreme II, I have one of these and it works great and you can get them for under $100.00. I have a Cuddeback that's great, I have a Leaf River IR that's great. Now let me tell you a little about my Moultrie Gamespy 100, I received my first Moultrie on 12/7/05 it would not read my SanDisk 256 SD card, I sent it back. The 2nd Moultrie would not take a picture, I sent it back. The 3rd Moultrie would only take a picture 9 feet in front of the camera, I sent it back. The 4th Moultrie would only take between 3 and 12 pictures and shut off, I sent it back. The 5th Moultrie is working OK. But not as good as the Wildview Extreme II and I only paid $67.00 on E-Bay and it was new and that included shipping.
    Good Luck

Don't have enough money for a 200, but I guess I could see what the parents would say.

I would suggest before making the purchase reading some of the old posts in here posted by moultrie owners.

i have the 200, it works great, but there has been alot of problems with both the 100 & 200 models, when they work, they work great and take good pictures, even though they don't have a fast shutter like the cuddie back, they have 16 mg of internal memory, and use an sd card, i have two recharageable batterys and 2 sd cards, every time i go check it, i swap out the card and put a fresh battery in it. It's a shame some guys have had to go through som many cameras to get one that works, you would think moultrie would get this thing perfected, then they would sell more and have more satisfied customers.
