    Default Hurry up and wait

I ma in hurry up and wait mode now...I placed my new Cuddeback out for the first time (with a bit of help from Billkay ), and now I am waiting for a few weeks to go by. My question is...how long is it safe to assume those 4 D-cells will last. They are brand new industrial strength Energizers. I mean Cuddeback advertises 6 months in warm weather, but somehow I doubt it. How long before you think I should go back out there and get the pics and replace the batteries...?

I cant seem to rememeber exactly how long they lasted. ( ours got stolen after about 2 months of use) I was thinking during that time we never did replace the batteries. I am sure 6 month may be a bit of a stretch but you never know.
Cant wait to see some pics. It is an awesome camera.

Same here can't wait to see some pictures. I'll be putting mine out for the first time tomorrow! Hopefully get some pictures by the end of the weekend and if I don't I'll leave it out there for a couple weeks.

Well Ken, it depends on activity and the amount of night time shots as to just how long the batteries will last. I swap cards on our leaf river about every 3 or 4 days. Depending on how much activity I am seeing my batteries might last 2-3 months.

I would say three weeks max! winter maybe 4 to 5 weeks. But i have never had them last longer then 5 weeks in all my cuddebacks.

It looks like you got that camera too high. But it just might be the picture looks that way.

It is about 3-4 feet off the ground. It is just the way the picture looks.
