I have has alot of good results with Sony. I have one that lasted for years. I dropped it from my stand twice. I fell in a creek on vacation with it and let it dry out and it started working again but the lens has a halo around it when I film. I bought another one the DVD92. It is small and does it all. There are plenty of good ones out there but Sony is at the top of my list.![]()
I cant help you but welcome to the forum!
Thank you
Thank you. Have you heard anything about Cannon?
i would agree with Sony. Thats what I have used for several years now. have never used a cannon. Sorry.
Welcome to the forums. Will be using a sony here this year too. Have not had our handycam for very long, but really pleased with it so far.
Someone posted about a cannon gl2 in here, might ask them how they like it.
I have run a Canon XL1 for a year now and I love it... Expensive to buy and expensive to maintain, but a awesome camera. The only thing it lacks is a LCD screen, but you can add one as an accessory. Better zoom than the Sony, and low light capabilities are acceptable, but not awesome, that is why I bought a sSony with Nightshot to use in the wee hours.
