Default New small consumer video arm

I just received an email from HunterCam Cradle about a new camera arm they have put in production. This arm is meant to be used by those with a small consumer camera and not like their normal arms that are for the large prosumer type set up. I just thought that I would pass the info along. This arm is priced at $84.95.

Here are a few pictures that were included in the email:

I am in no way affiliated with HunterCam Cradle. I do not work for the company I am just passing along some info that I received and others might be interested in seeing.

Thanks for posting that. Looks like a pretty simple, but good design. Been thinking of building something like that.

What if you don't have a tree stand with the bar around it?

Actually $85 isn't bad.It looks like a pretty well built piece of equipment.I've actually built some similiar, but they are a bit larger for more commercial type camcorders. The ones I made strapped to the tree, but the guy sold them for more than twice that much.

Not a bad price when you consider the value of the item resting on it which can run into the thousands of dollars. Looks good. Is that a Velbon head?

I am not certain what head they are using on the mini. Kind of looks like a Slik head to me .I know their other orms use Bogen/Manfrotto heads. Check out their website it might have some more info.
