    Default Shooter?

Would you shoot this buck? He's got some great beams, nice width as well as some good G2's.

Here is a pic of him from early in June:

    And my most recent pics:

I don't know how big bucks get in your area, but around here I would definitely take him.

I am going to say no. While he looks tempting, he only looks to be at most 3 1/2 years old. He still has some tine length to add.

However, I am sure if I passed on this buck, I wouldn't see another deer all year long.

125 class 8 point, probably 3.5 years old.

If your goal is to let them reach their full potential, then he needs to walk. Definitely some growing left in him.

If your goal is to shoot a good looking deer for the wall, then that one qualifies.

Tempter, but I would let him walk. Last thing I need to do is shoot a Tominator type buck, and have him come down on me HARD!

I say he walks, nice looking buck though!

Here in my neck of the woods, he wouldn't be walking past my treestand without gettin an arrow launched at him. Good luck with him. He's still got some growing to do too.

Depends on the pressure around you. If you have enough acreage and think that this buck can make it another season, I'd let him walk. If there is heavy pressure and you're worried about someone else getting a shot at him, It'd be very tempting to go ahead and put him on the wall if you get the chance. Good luck!

Depends if he shows up and I'm in the mood to end my season, I guess!
