Trapping Hogs

Just some hogs I have caught the past few weekends

It just blows my mind that there are that many hogs running around......how many do you figure you catch a year ??

If you have a really good area you can catch probably 1 every day to 2 days all year. I have had groups of 50+ walk out in the feilds where we used to hunt.

We trap hogs too, and it is fun, but it can also be a pain, especially when we get deer in the trap. Nice pics!!!

I only get to run the traps on the weekends, but I still catch between 150-200 a year and then we kill some while sitting in the deer stands.

During cooler weather we take them out of the traps alive and kept them in a pen at our place until they are big enough to sell and we have a trailer load to sell to make the trip worth while. It has been a while since we have sold any, so not sure what the prices are, but I can tell you that they are not that great.

they go to BBQ and bacon heaven
